Our privacy commitments
- We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.
- We do not share your information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
- We do not share your phone number or SMS message content with third parties for any purpose other than delivering the messages you've consented to receive.
- We only share information with service providers who help us run the business (database hosting, SMS delivery, email forwarding, website hosting), and only to the extent they need it to provide their service.
- You can ask us to delete your information at any time. We'll do it (subject to records we're legally required to keep, like paid invoices for tax purposes).
What's in this policy
1. Who we are
Git Er Done LLC ("we," "us," "our") is a Tennessee limited liability company that provides handyman and home-improvement services in and around Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This privacy policy covers information we collect through our website at giterdonenow.com (the "Site"), the forms on the Site, our employee app, and any phone, text, or email communication you have with us.
By using the Site or contacting us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. What information we collect
Information you give us directly
- Quote requests: name, phone number, email (optional), job address, the service you're asking about, and your description of the work.
- Job applications: name, phone, email, city, position you're applying for, employment type, years of experience, background description, optional resume/portfolio link, references, availability, and answers to practical questions (transportation, tools, license, background-check, etc.).
- Hiring as a customer: if you become a customer, we also keep records of jobs we've done for you, invoices we've issued, payments received, and notes from our conversations.
- Direct communications: anything you tell us by phone, text, or email.
Information we collect automatically
- Standard server logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited, the same way most websites do. We don't currently use this data for anything beyond troubleshooting and basic analytics.
- No third-party tracking pixels. We don't run Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or advertising trackers. We don't profile users across other websites.
3. How we use your information
We use what you give us to:
- Respond to your quote request, schedule a site visit, and provide an estimate
- Do the work, send you invoices, and follow up on payment
- Send appointment reminders and invoice reminders by text or email (only to numbers/addresses you've given us, and only related to active jobs)
- Evaluate your job application and reach out about hiring
- Maintain business records as required by tax and licensing rules
- Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes
We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, behavioral profiling, or any commercial purpose other than the services you hired us for or the services you've explicitly asked about.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information to anyone.
We do not share your information with third parties for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes — ours or anyone else's.
We share information only with the service providers we use to actually run the business, and only to the extent each provider needs to do its specific job:
- Supabase
- Stores customer records, jobs, invoices, expenses, and quote-request leads. Located in the United States. Their privacy policy.
- Twilio
- Sends SMS messages on our behalf (appointment and invoice reminders) when you've provided a phone number. Twilio processes only the phone numbers and message content needed to deliver those messages. Their privacy policy.
- FormSubmit
- Forwards job-application form submissions to our email address. Their privacy policy.
- Vercel
- Hosts the website. Their privacy policy.
None of these providers are permitted to use your information for their own marketing purposes.
We may also share information when:
- Required by law, subpoena, court order, or to comply with regulatory authorities
- Necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers or employees
- You explicitly ask us to (e.g., providing a reference to a future contractor working on the same property)
- We sell or transfer the business — in which case the new owner would inherit your information under the same terms as this policy, and you'd be notified of the change
5. Text messages & phone calls
If you give us a phone number, we may use it to:
- Call or text you to confirm details, schedule appointments, or follow up on a job
- Send invoice and payment reminders
- Reach you about urgent issues with work in progress
We do not share your phone number with any third party for marketing purposes. Twilio (our SMS delivery provider) processes phone numbers solely to deliver the messages you've consented to receive.
Frequency: messages are transactional and tied to your job — typically a few per project, not ongoing marketing.
Opt-out: you can stop SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, or by calling us at (615) 810-0132 and asking. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
Help: reply HELP for assistance, or call us directly.
For full SMS program disclosures, see our Terms & Conditions.
6. Cookies & tracking
The customer-facing pages of giterdonenow.com don't set tracking cookies. Our employee app uses your browser's local storage to keep employees signed in — that data stays on the employee's device.
We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking tools. If we add analytics in the future (for example, Plausible or Vercel's privacy-first analytics) we'll update this policy and use only tools that don't track individual users across sites.
7. How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data:
- All site traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
- Customer and job data is stored in a database with strict row-level security — only authenticated employees with a verified account can read or modify it.
- Receipt photos are stored privately, accessed only via short-lived signed URLs by authenticated employees.
- SMS and payment credentials are held by our service providers and never exposed to the public-facing parts of the site.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we ever experience a data breach that affects your information, we'll notify you as required by Tennessee law.
8. How long we keep your information
- Quote requests that don't become jobs: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Customer records and job history: kept for the duration of the customer relationship plus 7 years afterward, to comply with tax recordkeeping rules.
- Job applications: kept up to 12 months after submission. We may keep it longer if you've explicitly asked us to keep your application on file.
- Invoices and payment records: kept for at least 7 years (tax requirement).
- Site logs: retained by our hosting provider per their standard policies (typically 30 days).
9. Your rights and choices
You can:
- Ask what we have on you — we'll send a copy of your records.
- Correct anything that's wrong — just tell us what's off.
- Request deletion — we'll erase your information, except records we're legally required to keep (e.g., paid invoices for 7 years).
- Opt out of texts or emails at any time, as described above.
- Decline to share information — you don't have to give us anything beyond what's needed to do the work, but we may not be able to provide service without it.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us — see Section 12. We'll respond within 30 days.
If you're a California resident covered by the CCPA/CPRA, you have additional rights including the right to know what we've collected, the right to deletion, and the right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Contact us to exercise these rights.
10. Children
Our services and Site are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to how we handle your information, we'll update the "Effective" date at the top of this page and post a notice on our homepage for at least 30 days. For minor edits (typos, clarifications), we'll just update the page.
12. How to contact us
Privacy questions, requests, or concerns:
Jake — Owner, Git Er Done LLC
If you'd rather mail us, ask for our mailing address by phone or email — we'll provide it.
